Burke Law represents clients in DC and Maryland in need of all types of licenses, permits and endorsements, including alcohol beverage licenses, basic business licenses, certificates of occupancy, public space licenses and tax registrations, as well as the required strategic negotiations necessary to resolve issues with the regulatory boards and disciplinary proceedings that govern such licenses. Burke Law offers a COVID-Seal-of-Approval, a process through which Burke Law will ensure that its clients meet and/or exceed all public health requirements in order to remain open for business, depending on the specific governmental phase. Risk mitigation strategies, liability waivers, COVID-19 grant applications, employee protections and customer safety protocols are all included in this service.

Health Insurance

Providing health insurance as an employee benefit, or simply providing guidance to your employees about individual health plan options, is a critical factor in recruiting and retaining employees as well as maintaining productivity and employee satisfaction. Burke Law assists small businesses in the navigation and selection of health insurance plans for their employees. Alternatively, Burke Law offers a Health Insurance Training Program designed to help employees find and purchase individual health plans when not offered as an employee benefit.
